President's Message

April 2007

I wish to thank all members of Region 2 who attended the 2007 National ACJA/LAE Conference in Wilmington, Delaware. We had over 24 members and guests attend this very successful event. Dr. Henry Lee put on a very interesting and entertaining seminar on CSI related homicide cases.

I know that it is very difficult not only for chapters but also individuals to attend national conferences due to the ever increasing costs. So it is always rewarding to see anyone attend the national conference.

Please begin planning to attend the regional conference this fall. The conference will be held 11-14 of October 2007 in San Marcos, TX sponsored by Texas State. They have planned and organized two prior regional conferences. Both conferences were outstanding and well attended by members of Region 2. Please start now on fund raising ideas, so that, we within the region can show our support for Texas State and their conference.
